Police Beat March 4 – March 17

March 4, DVC Book Center Bike Rack

A bicycle and helmet were stolen from the Book Center’s bike racks. There were no witnesses.

March 4, DVC Math Building Division Office

Staff member reported that a paper shredder was stolen from the Math Division Office.

March 4, DVC Library Bike Racks

A bicycle was stolen from the Library which was locked to a bike rack. There were no witnesses.

March 4, DVC Police Sub-Stations

Two female students came to the police sub-station to report a male they believe is not a student who has been roaming the campus asking women for their phone number.

March 5, DVC Bus Transit Center

Unknown subject hit/kicked the window and door of a County Connection Bus causing a glass panel on the door to break.

March 5, DVC Overflow Parking Lot

A vehicle was burglarized in parking lot 7A overflow lot while it was parked unattended. There were no witnesses.

March 6, DVC Parking Lot 8

The rear windshield of a parked car was shattered by unknown means. There was nothing to indicate it was intentional. There were no witnesses.

March 9, DVC Liberal Arts Building 

A student reported that another student displayed aggressive behavior towards her and made comments that made her feel unsafe during a class.

March 9, DVC Library Bike Rack 

A student’s bicycle was stolen from the bike rack under the Library. There were no witnesses.

March 10, DVC Parking Lot 3

Student reported that the motorcycle he drove to campus was stolen while parked unattended. There were no witnesses.

March 11, DVC Parking Lot 9

A dog jumped out of an open window of a parked vehicle. The owner was later located and reunited with the dog.
