Ted Weiden, interim president of Diablo Valley college, spoke to the Associated Students of DVC on Tuesday, Sept. 20 about the status for the search of his replacement.

Weiden discussed how the search requires a new chancellor to be appointed before they can continue the search.

The search for the new President of DVC can only begin after the new chancellor has been appointed which is speculated to not occur until January.

Weiden commented that ASDVC, “Needs more student to fill seats,” because they council looked a little light this semester.

Weiden also mentioned that if any students need help or have any questions or concerns about the school the best way to reach him is through his assistant, Julie Catalano.

“I want to do some good before I leave,” Weiden told the Inquirer.
