DVC Swim and Dive prepares for State Championship

 

A strong showing by the Vikings Swim and Dive team last weekend at the Big 8 Conference Championships, with the women’s team taking the first place prize. The men competed also competed very well and came away with a second place show.

Taylor Henry was selected MVP Swimmer, while the women’s coaching staff, Rick Millington, Todd Krohn, Zach Roberts, Phil Tonne, Lenny Chaplin and Ricky Millington Jr., was chosen as Coach(es) of the Year.

The team is looking to take their confidence from these wins and bring them to the State Championships in LA.
