At 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 Monte Bairos’ Wind Bands will play a show at the Performing Arts center. The band will perform Alfred Reed’s work for concert bands, “Othello,” as well as David Gillingham’s “Heroes Lost and Fallen,” a tribute to Vietnam War soldiers. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
